There are multiple ways to update your name, gender, and other personal details on Canvas and your student ID if you no longer identify with the information you originally provided. To change your preferred name, primary/legal name, or gender, please follow these steps provided by the Registrar’s office.
Two prayer and meditation rooms are located in Jordan Hall 182 C and D; two prayer and meditation rooms are located in the Efroymson Diversity Center located on the lower level of Atherton Union; and a contemplation room can be found on the second floor of The Compass Center.
For Butler to be a welcoming place for all religious identities, we strive to ensure that various religious accommodations are in place. This includes the option to work with faculty to be absent for religious observance that conflicts with the academic schedule.
